Some fun facts about kenyansherpa:

He found his first geocache in June of 2005.

He had his team do a “buddy date” each month with a different team member, It had to last at least an hour and no discussion of work was allowed. When it came time for his “buddy date” with a certain team member, she asked him if he had ever heard of geocaching because, given his other hobbies, she thought he would like it. He didn’t know what geocaching was but agreed to try it. He really enjoyed it! He has continued to geocache ever since. 😊

The Challenge Cache is his favorite type of cache and the Large Size cache is his favorite size of cache. He likes the Large Size best because it feeds into the need of large caches for challenges.

 

As of 7/19/2023 kenyansherpa has found a total of 6,277 geocaches (See his profile for a breakdown)

kenyansherpa has contributed to the geocaching community by hiding 40 caches with a total of 211 Favorite Points.

As of this writing, he is currently only 1 cache away from having a quad Jasmer Challenge completed!

kenyansherpa’s favorite cache is Down The Rabbit Hole (GC7VZNV).  He loves the works of Lewis Carroll. The construction of this multi takes you deep into his most famous work while making you think in the field. Bring your highest level of geocaching tradecraft when finding this great Multi-Cache!

Geocaching provides kenyansherpa a purpose for his back country wanderings. It helps keep his mind sharp with some amazing puzzles and it takes him places he would never have otherwise discovered!

The always inspiring quote “Dream Big, Plan Well, Work Hard” keeps kenyansherpa motivated!
